Q: I purchased the Barcelona Express Card online and would like to know if I can pickup the card the day before it starts from Barcelona Airport?
A: You can pickup your Barcelona Express Card any time after purchasing online. Provided you have your printed voucher showing your purchase, and some identification e.g. your passport. You can pickup the Barcelona Express card from the Barcelona Turisme tourist information office in either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Barcelona airport. Please note that the card only "starts" or "becomes active" the first time you actually use the card even if you specified a date on the online booking it does not matter.
You can pickup your card any time within the operating hours for the airport tourist information offices. I have provided the opening hours below along with links to detailed information pages about the tourist offices in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Barcelona Airport.
