Q: We will be visiting Barcelona during our cruise next month. Could you please tell me the best way to travel to Sagrada Família from the cruise port?
A: There are several ways to get to the Sagrada Família (Antoni Gaudí's giant Basilica) from the Cruise port. The quickest way would be by taxi and the journey takes about 15 minutes.

Alternatively if you want to take public transport which would be cheaper but take more time. You would first take the Cruise Bus shuttle bus service that runs from all Cruise terminals to the Columbus (Monument de Colom) at the foot of La Rambla.
The Sagrada Família express entry tickets are included FREE with the Barcelona City Pass. Click here to learn more.

From there cross the road to La Rambla and walk to the green line Metro stop - Drassanes (this is only 20 metres walk from the foot of La Rambla). Here you need to take the Green Line metro to Diagonal. At Diagonal you need to change lines to the blue line and you would then alight at the stop Sagrada Família. The Sagrada Família can be seen from leaving the metro.
