Q: Hi, Can you please advise where I can obtain an independent entry for the Sant Silvestre 10k race run?
Sant Silvestre 10k Race Run
Date: Event date not yet confirmed
A: You will need to register for the San Silvestre 10k race in Barcelona. Details on how to register are given below. Every participant of the race needs to have an electronic tracking chip for the run.
There are two different types of chips: the yellow chip and the white (sometimes black) chip. There is a registration fee. All those who do not have a personal yellow chip need to purchase a white chip at the registration (it can sometimes be black coloured, too) and pay an additional amount for the chip.
Registration fee: €15.00
Every participant needs to go to the Complex Esportiu Municipal Bella (Avenida Litoral del Mar, 86 - 96) before starting the race to pick up the dorsal number and the chip in case you do not own your personal yellow chip. When you go to pick up your chip and number, make sure that you bring your registration receipt and your passport.

Nobody likes waiting around in long queues to get their COVID test. The Express COVID testing service we recommend only works by appointment ensuring that you get tested when you need to without having to queue. Getting your COVID test in the city centre before your flight or cruise offers many advantages over getting tested in the Airport or from a cruise liner. You have your certificates on time without a rush, you have time to correct inaccuracies on your certificate and you have time to re-arrange your flight or other travel plans if you should test positive. To learn more about how to get your COVID travel certificates valid for planes, cruises and other transport, follow one of the links below to learn more.

What is the Champion Chip and what does the colour stand for?
A Champion Chip is a miniature transponder in a specially designed housing, marked with a unique identification number. The transponder is a waterproof glass capsule that contains a silicon chip and an energizing coil.
Runners Yellow chips (personal 7-digit-chips)
Participants can own a yellow chip and use it in Champion Chip timed events around the world. Your personal yellow chip, bought in your country or abroad, can be used all over the world in many events timed by Champion Chip. All yellow chips have a 7-digit-code. You need to indicate these 7 digits in the field 'numero de xip'.
Runners Single Use Chips (SU Chips)
SU Chips are issued by the events for one time use only. After the race the chip can be kept as a souvenir. These chips are recycled by the organization at the end of the race for environmental reasons and for a humanitarian aid, as part of the paid amount goes to the NGO AFNE in Ethiopia. The SU Chips cannot be re-used in other Champion Chip timed events.
Make sure when you register for this race to choose the correct chip on the form, otherwise you cannot continue the registration process.
