Q: We would like to know if we can visit the Dalí Museum with my Dad in a wheelchair? Can we visit all areas of the museum?
A: You can take your Dad to the Dalí Museum. However, there are some areas of the museum that cannot be accessed by a wheelchair. Since the museum was a former theatre. It does not have modern facilities to assist people with reduced mobility.Although you can visit other parts of the Dalí Museum whilst your Dad is on a wheelchair. You can go to the central courtyard where you will see the Rainy Cadillac installation. You can visit the stage, located under the dome. You can also visit the Treasure Room displaying a selection of key works by Salvador Dalí. You can also go to the ground floor and the under-stage area, where you will see Salvador Dalí's crypt, drawings, illustrations, and an exhibition of paintings from various periods in the Fishmongers' Room. You can also see the Dalí Jewels collection.
