|Catalonia Gracia Hotel|
Catalonia Gracia Hotel is a classic 4 star hotel located in Eixample - Barcelona's most well-to-do area. It is, surrounded by attractive shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is near some of Barcelona's most popular tourist attractions Sagrada Família, Passeig de Gràcia and La Pedrera.
The hotel itself has a classic exterior - an old building houses a glass canopy with flags and ornate street lamps at either side of the door. On entering, the lobby area is relatively small. The front desk is immediately in front of you, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. There is a seating area to the right, where green and maroon couches set the tone for a cosy and classic setting. Dark woods are used in the furniture and along the walls. Pop music plays, allowing a sense of informality.
The hotel is not particularly useful for business people as there are no meeting rooms. However, families may be interested in the two suite rooms that are available, as they hold up to 4 people.
Nobody likes waiting around in long queues to get their COVID test. The Express COVID testing service we recommend only works by appointment ensuring that you get tested when you need to without having to queue. Getting your COVID test in the city centre before your flight or cruise offers many advantages over getting tested in the Airport or from a cruise liner. You have your certificates on time without a rush, you have time to correct inaccuracies on your certificate and you have time to re-arrange your flight or other travel plans if you should test positive. To learn more about how to get your COVID travel certificates valid for planes, cruises and other transport, follow one of the links below to learn more.

|Casa 'Les Punxes'|
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Avenida Diagonal and Casa 'Les Punxes'. This building stands proudly on the wide street and is an impressive sight - it has six towers with conical points at the top and means 'House of the Spikes' in Catalan.
The hotel is also a 10 minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia. This is one of Barcelona's most picturesque streets - it is dotted with old buildings and lined with ornate old street lamps. It is the home of some of Gaudí's most famous buildings, including La Pedrera (a ten minute walk from the hotel). This building is inspired by the sea and has this theme running throughout. There is a spiral staircase that looks like the centre of a seashell. The building is open to the public (entry tickets are necessary) and the undulating roof provides 360 degree views of Barcelona.
The hotel is also a 15 minute walk, in the other direction from Passeig de Gràcia, to the Sagrada Família. This is a large basilcia that was designed by Gaudí. It is a work in progress and many people enjoy returning to the city to see what changes have been made since their last trip.
