It is the home of two of Gaudí's most important buildings - Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Casa Batlló is a colourful building with a mosaic roof in the shape of a dragon's tail. La Pedrera is a larger building with sea-inspired details, such as a spiral staircase like the inside of a seashell and a wavy roof.

A 10 minute walk from the hotel on Calle Diputacion with Passeig de Gràcia it is possible to find the restaurant Tapas, 24. The restaurant was opened by the owner of the famous Camerc 24 restaurant as a more relaxed alternative. It offers traditional Spanish style tapas with a twist.

Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes.

Taxi Fare: €30.00 - €35.00

Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia in 25 minutes. You can either use the T-Casual transport ticket from the airport (a ticket for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport system) or you can buy a single fare ticket. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Alternatively, if you have a lot of luggage, a taxi would take 2 minutes.
