From the exterior Eurostars Cristal Palace Hotel is understated - a modern glass canopy and silver sign adorn the entrance. The lobby area is welcoming - with muted tones and soft lighting. There are green marble floors and a generous helping of open spaces. The front desk is to the right of the area, with seating to the left. Sofas of beige and brown are punctuated by a bright red velvet couch, adding a splash of colour to the surroundings. Small cactus plants with red flowers provide some necessary quirk.
The hotel is well situated for those who wish to be at the heart of Barcelona's districts of shopping and culture. Located a 30 second walk from Passeig de Gràcia metro station, the whole of Barcelona is within easy reach.

All rooms have double-glazing. However, those requiring a quiet nights sleep should request the rooms on the highest floors at the interior of the hotel. The rooms with the best views are on the 8th and 9th floors of the hotel. There are eight rooms with balconies. There is one suite available that sleeps a maximum of four people and contains a Jacuzzi.
All rooms include air conditioning, a safe, a television with satellite, a whirlpool bath and a mini-bar.

Eurostars Cristal Palace Hotel is located a 1 minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia. This is a road that runs from Plaça de Catalunya and is well-known for its designer shops and Gaudí buildings. The street itself is beautiful - it is lined with ornate street lamps and is paved with patterned paving stones.
Shoppers will be pleased to find the hotel located a 5 minute walk from large designer stores such as Burberry, Prada, Gucci and Loewe. Passeig de Gràcia is also the home of a design store that is renowned in Spain - Vinçon. This large old building houses a whole world of design. Inside its stunning stone alcoves, it is possible to find furniture, art, kitchen appliances and everything in-between. It may prove a good place to buy some interesting gifts to bring home.
Passeig de Gràcia is also home to two Gaudí buildings - Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Casa Batlló is closest to the hotel and on the same side of the street. It is a relatively small façade sitting between two more modern buildings and is a wonderful escape from reality in the centre of the city. Its colourful mosaic walls are dotted with large and distinctive balconies, and its roof has been created to look like a dragon's tail.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel
