One of the best features of this hotel is to be found on the 13th floor. There you will find the planta natura, which consists of a spa overlooking the sea, an outdoor swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzis, a normal massage room and a gym. There is also a café with healthy snacks (open in summertime). Apart from the café there is a 24hr restaurant called Dia y Nit. The hotel's features are of avant-garde design, you will find no hint of the traditional here. The Hotel AC Barcelona Forum has its own underground parking and easy access for people with a disability.
More than anything this hotel is ideal for business, not only because of its privileged location but it also has an impressive business centre. The business centre comprises of 13 meeting rooms with a top capacity of 530 people. The rooms are all open plan and thus let in a lot of natural light. The centre has its own reception area and facilities (e.g. photocopying, fax ) The rooms are fully equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment and Wi-Fi technology.
All together there are 368 rooms, 240 of which are standard rooms. These all have a free mini-bar, internet connection, sound system, and many rooms at the top of the hotel have gorgeous views out onto the beach. The décor of the rooms continue the hotel's knack for good design with an oriental influence. The bathrooms are black marble and have a hair dryer, bathroom supplies and interestingly a soap the shape and texture of a golf ball which is meant to provide a massage as you wash.

The Metro stop Maresme Forum is 5 minutes walk away, and will take you into the centre of the city in 25 minutes so your sight-seeing and cultural immersion trips are only a short ride away. Nearer to home you have the beach a 5 minute walk behind the hotel. Opposite the hotel is a large new complex called Diagonal Mar which consists of all types of shop, restaurant and entertainment. The Forum area is relatively new and already built up with hotels and businesses, however the government has made an effort to keep as much greenery as possible. A 2 minute walk away is the Diagonal Park which is a thoroughly pleasant place to have a walk or rest on some of the modernist wave-style benches.
Banking, eating and clothes shopping are all well catered for in the Diagonal Mar complex opposite. If you want to buy your own food, and maybe have a picnic on the beach, then there is also a hypermarket in the complex. At night you may want to try a little further a field. The Olympic village is a short taxi ride away and has all sorts of different bars and clubs, and even an Irish pub if you don't want to miss the game.

Minibus shared transfer (advanced reservation required)
A shared minibus transfer option is cheaper than the private transfer. You would need to make your way to designated meeting point at the airport.
Private transfer (advanced reservation required)
With a private transfer service the driver will be waiting for you at the designated meeting point given to you on the booking voucher. You will be travel in one of the following car types (or similar): Volkswagen Passat, Skoda Superb, Citroen C5 or Peugeot 407. The driver will help you with your bags to the vehicle and then drive you to your hotel.
Business class private transfer (advanced reservation required)
This is the highest quality private transport service specifically for people wanting a business-class quality service. This service is more expensive than the other tranfer services however you will be travelling in a higher quality vehicle than a regular private transfer. Mercedes vehicles are used and will be one of the following: Mercedes E Class, Minivan Mercedes and V Class Mercedes depending on the number of people in your group. The driver will be dressed appropriately for a business environment - dark suit and white shirt and will assist you with your luggage. The pickup point at the airport is specified on your booking voucher. This service is suitable for business clients, VIP pick ups or if you have a special occassion.
A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes.

The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia station, in about 25 minutes. You then have to change here for the yellow line metro. Your nearest metro stop is Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.

The Aerobus and will also take you to Plaça de Catalunya in just over 30 minutes. At Catalunya you need to catch the Green line metro to Passeig de Gràcia and then change again for the yellow line metro to Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.
