Review of Brick Hotel:

The Hotel Brick was in a good position for access to the city centre via the metro and close to the Plaça de España and those gloriously magical fountains of Montjuïc. Superb spectacle at nighttime. It is also close to some really good locally run Tapas and restaurant bars which you will need as the hotel does not cater for meals. The hotel was a little run down and tired looking and in need of minor renovations to get out of the 1970s and the double glazing was not substantial enough to keep out the road noise which continues day and night, but it was clean and had maid service everyday. All the staff are friendly and accommodating, but if you stay here you need to learn some Spanish which will be appreciated as there is very little of any other language spoken.
