At the end of the street where the hotel is located is the Parc de Joan Miró. This is a large city park, with a sandy floor and lots of palm trees. It also includes the famous 'Woman and Bird' sculpture and a building housing a small library. This is a modernist building with few windows and sand coloured walls.

The hotel is also a five minute walk from Plaça España. This is home of Barcelona's Palace - the Palau Nacional. The Palace looks proudly down onto the square, a wide and elegant structure, with a central dome and large windows. The Palace houses the National Museum of Catalonian Art. Plaça España is also home of the Fira de Barcelona. This is Barcelona's largest conference centre and hosts regular international conventions in many and varied fields of business and leisure. Guests of the hotel will be conveniently close to the centre.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

The driver will help you with your bags to the vehicle and then drive you to your hotel. Private transfers are independent of the the public transport system. This means if there is a public transport strike these services will continue to operate.
Public transport transfer options
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes.
Taxi Fare: €30.00 - €40.00
Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia in 25 minutes. You can either use the T-Casual transport ticket from the airport (a ticket for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport system) or you can buy a single fare ticket. You then change at Passeig de Gràcia onto the Yellow Line metro and travel one stop to Urquinaona and then change onto the Red Line and travel to Rocafort. Your hotel is then 10 minutes walk from the metro.

Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaça de Catalunya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. The hotel is a little too far to walk from the station. You can take a taxi from the train station if you have lots of luggage. This will take about 5 minutes. Alternatively you can take the Red Line from Plaça de Catalunya to Rocafort where the hotel is just a short walk away. It should take around 10 minutes.
