The hotel exterior has a typical hotel style - marble walls, a glass façade and flags hanging above the entrance door. On entering the lobby it is small but bright - white floors and glass windows ensure that the area has a feeling of space. The lobby is clean and appears to have been recently renovated. There is a seating area with comfortable stripy green, cream and maroon couches. Plants are dotted around the room and the front desk towards the back of the room.
The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Avenida Diagonal - one of Barcelona's major roads that runs right through town. Seasoned travellers with experience in tackling transport systems will cope well in this hotel. However, those who like to have the heart of the city on their doorstep may choose to opt for more central accommodation.

This is convenient for those who require quick access to Barcelona airport, as it can be reached by train from Estació Sants Station. It is also an interesting option for day trips out of Barcelona to areas such as Sitges, Figueres or Girona.

A 2 minute walk from the hotel there is a small art house cinema - Filmoteca. This could prove to be a lifesaver on a rainy day or a quiet evening in the city. Most films are shown in their original language, rather than being dubbed, so you may well be able to find a film that suits you. The cinema has its own small café, to sit and pontificate about the merits of the film once its over.
A 5 minute walk from the hotel you can find Barcelona's Industrial University. This may not seem particularly interesting, however, the building is very beautiful -old, grand and Gothic. It is definitely worth a look if you are passing by.
The closest metro station is Hospital Clínic - a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This will prove very useful in reaching areas such as the Ramblas, Plaça de Catalunya or Sagrada Família if you are interested in seeing the sights.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

From here take the metro to Hospital Clínic on the Blue Line, from the metro station the hotel is a 5 minute walk.

Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaça de Catalunya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Plaça de Catalunya you can take the Green Line on the metro to Estació Sants and change onto the Blue Line to Hospital Clínic, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the metro station.
