The Diagonal Mar/ Forum area where the hotel is located is modern and doesn't really feel like Barcelona at all. However the area is well-connected by metro to the centre of the city (the journey takes about 15 minutes) and the big benefit of the area is the beach which is a short walk from the hotel. There is also a modern-styled park right next to the hotel. If you are looking for another restaurant then there are 2 just near the hotel and more if you carry on walking down towards the beach on Calle Selva de Mar. There is a bank and a café on the next road down and a pharmacy almost on the beach front. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Diagonal Mar shopping complex which has copious shops, restaurants as well as a supermarket and other facilities.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes.

Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia station, in about 25 minutes. You then have to change here for the yellow Line 
Metro to Poblenou and the hotel is a short 3 minute walk from the metro.

Via Bus: The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Catalunya you need to catch the green line metro to Passeig de Gràcia. You then have to change here for the yellow Line Metro to Selva de Mar and the hotel is a short 3 minute walk from the metro.
