Review: We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant one evening whilst wondering the streets of the gothic quarter. While the menu is not as extensive as some places there is a good choice.
We were just going to have main courses, but we were advised that the Risotto we had ordered is made fresh and would take 20-30 minutes, so we chose a couple of starters to share.
We had the Iberian ham platter, which was excellent, the meat was lovely and soft and sweet. We also had the Mozzarella and rocket salad - my personal favourite, the Mozzarella was delicious, dressed in balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
There is an excellent choice of wines, they also have several Riojas, we asked the owner for a recommendation she was helpful and we settled on a nicely matured Rioja.
It certainly didn't seem 20 minutes before the main courses arrived, the risotto was fantastic it was light not heavy and stodgy like most I have had, my two companions both had steaks, which were cooked to perfection.

The restaurant is on the corner of Carrer Ample and Carrer Simo Oller, although the entrance is on Carrer Ample.
