Tibidabo as a parking location
Tibidabo is a relatively long way out from the city centre so having your car to get there is a convenient way to travel to the amusement park. Note that there is no parking actually at the Tibidabo amusement park itself however. Tibidabo amusement park offers parking at the Tibidabo-Vall d'Hebron car park which is about 2km drive away. The charge is a reasonable €10.95 per day for those that have purchased an admission ticket to the Tibidabo Amusement Park and includes a return ride to the car park and back free of charge with the entrance ticket.
If however you want to visit Tibidabo mountain to see some of the best views in Barcelona but not visit the amusement park at the top of the mountain then you would have to pay the normal parking rates plus you would need to make your own way to the park from the car park.
If you want to visit Tibidabo without visiting the amusment park we recommend parking at the the foot of Tibidabo mountain at the COPARK Tanatori Sant Gervasi car park and walking to the Funicular de Tibidabo which is only about 10 minutes walk away. You can then take the Funicular up to the Tibidabo peak. Parking at the BSM Sant Genis Vall d' Hebron option is probably best if you intend to buy an entrance ticket for the Tibidabo amusement park because then you get the free shuttle transport and discounted parking rates.
